It is a wonderful racing game, certainly worth to buy CTR Nitro-Fueled Xbox One to play it at on a 4k display and fully enjoy the wonderful game graphics and atmosphere.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled for PS4 and Xbox One is a solid game though and the amount of content should keep players satisfied for a while. Cape Town — Crash Team Racing is one of the best games to ever have graced the original PlayStation’s library. Activision’s Crash Team Racing rebirth is more than a quick cash grab — Beenox has modernized an all-time loved classic with such evident passion and skill, making this probably the best kart racing game we’ve seen on PlayStation or Xbox for many, many years.
There’s a slightly Dreamworks-y quality to the animation that makes me wonder how quickly it will age, but for the moment everything pops and it’s a candy-flavored delight to look at. You might be surprised to see tracks and characters from the under-played and under-released sequel, Nitro Kart, in the game, and even more surprised to see tracks from the early, almost entirely unknown sequel Crash Tag Team Racing, but these just feel like icing on the remake cake. Xbox One games like this one are difficult to find — I love how it looks on my big 4k screen!
