Along the way, they will fight with many adversaries and complete a series of quests to further progress to the next level. In the end, they will have to defend the Arch-Illager in person, destroy the Orb of Dominance and save the world.
The gameplay is simple as well. The player explores various locations and completes quests to pass on to another level. Contrary to the sandbox setting of the original, it is a dungeon crawler with a difference. Unlike Minecraft, Minecraft Dungeons doesn’t feature an open world, nor mining or construction. Instead, it is a hack and slash-styled dungeon crawler, rendered from an isometric perspective. Minecraft Dungeons is far more accessible for younger or inexperienced players without compromising on fun.
