MotoGP 20 is the best racing video game
At the time of writing of this article, there is no better racing video game than MotoGP 20. True, we still wait for Codemaster’s F1 2020, Slightly Mad Studios’ Project Cars 3, or Polyphony Digital’s Grand Turismo 7 — all great video game franchises, racing games that we played and enjoyed over time. But for the first quarter of 2020, Milestone risk it and come out with MotoGP 20, at only nine months after the praised MotoGP 19 — a game that impressed a wide array of players in many substantial ways.
MotoGP 20 is a motorcycle racing simulation video game developed and released by Milestone, the Italian company that owns the franchise. I have to say from the very beginning that it is the best iteration of the series, a game that build and improved on an already very good MotoGP 19 video game. We have better graphics, more detailed and realistic, a new damaging model, very realistic physics and other simulation engines, like tire and breaking systems that player s have to take into consideration when competing.
Of course, being a licensed video game, MotoGP is great in content and has the latest news, crews, tracks, drivers, teams, sponsors,…etc., even if the real MotoGP competition is halted because of COVID-19. MotoGP 20 has also Moto2 and Moto3 classes, for the satisfaction of all two-wheel racing fans. Besides the updated content, there are 46 historic riders and 43 bikes at this time in a historic content area. You can also run with your own team and created driver. You will not be bored in one of the best ever ps4 racing games. I guess the content was covered from any possible angle, and nobody could be unsatisfied — not to mention that new content is expected and there is already an expansion pack available.
The AI is better, faster, smarter, and the A.N.N.A. (the AI engine) is more human. The AI now adapts and learns, it set the players to the player’s level and behave humanly. For example, AI drivers are prone to errors when pressured, like in the real life. The AI drivers have their own style of racing, so players will face diversity and adversity in MotoGP 20.
Another improvement is in the Managerial Career Mode, one that was rebuilt and brought to perfection. You can take over an existing team or start a new team from scratch. You can start from the lower racing categories, or enter into the MotoGP arena from the very beginning.
