You may not agree with the choices, and the reason is simple: the games were selected to favor something that all the other have less. For example, Rage 2 is great on shooting, but it lacks a clear story. Borderlands is more Diablo, than Doom. Far Cry 5 has a great story and it’s good on shooting, but you may not like the story from other reasons. We played great ps4 shooting games, but also on Xbox, but my main machine is a PlayStation 4. It is a first-person shooter with a lot of character. Rage 2 has a core combat that feels so much like Doom. It should not be a surprise giving the fact the developer is idSoftware. Infused with the DNA of iD Software’s Doom and Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max, we have the first-person open-world shooter Rage 2. Set in the year 2165, players take control of sole survivor Ranger Walker who must traverse the apocalyptic wasteland to form alliances with three survivor leaders, so that together they can take down the ruthless military known as the Authority.
Although the world of Rage 2 has been torn apart by rivaling factions and persists in a delicate and volatile wasteland, the game really affords players the opportunity to have some crazy fun at times. Fans of id Software games or anyone looking for a good old fashion Doom shooter will find it in Rage 2. RAGE 2’s unique visual style and genuinely fun gameplay mechanics ultimately outweigh a little uninspired assignment style, a disappointing story and sometimes faulty technical execution. The videogame delivers the kind of low-stress fun you probably expect from this kind of FPS game. Rage 2 is definitely a step up from the first, a game that is looking good, is feeling good, but it feels somehow incomplete because of the lack of narrative story.
Borderlands 3
Borderlands 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games on September 13, 2019. It is a game that presents action role-playing aspects, besides the FPS feature. Comparing to Rage 2, this one has a very nice story, but maybe not the top-notch shooting we encounter in games like DOOM. We encounter characters from the past games and we continue the adventure in a familiar setting.
Borderlands 3 is a terrific looter-shooter one of the very best in history. The game focuses on the gameplay. Shooting provides a great deal of fun and a gigantic arsenal of weapons keeps boredom at bay. Borderlands 3 is a video game that is made for replayability, and it shows. It lets you grow bored or tired with the mechanisms or the grinding-looting routine. This is going to be like jumping back in the past, but with all the improvements that make it an outstanding and enjoyable game. The best way is to say it is exactly the game you would expect it to be. There are loads of familiar faces, and it has the exact same type of atmosphere and ambiance. The twins are fine while it might be difficult to take the new villains after a great one like Handsome Jack. Most importantly, the Vault Hunters work well and the video game is as fun to play alone as it is with friends. It works looks, and plays well, and fans of the series will be more than happy to join the Crimson Raiders.
Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 is the fifth game in the Far Cry series. It was released on 27 March 2018 worldwide for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, and puts players against an extreme religious cult. Far Cry 5 is an action-adventure first-person shooter set in an open world environment in which players may roam free on foot or via various vehicles. The make-use of the vehicles is an interesting part of the game. Far Cry 5 is a really good game, with amazing optimization, gameplay, graphics story, villains and fun and interesting friend characters. It is a well-balanced video game.
Far Cry 5 is a chaos simulator with a story, tons of quality of life improvements over titles and an enormous amount of content. It is a blast if you allow yourself only accept the silly premise and not invest too much in the politics of the game, or lack thereof. Far Cry 5 is an artistic lesson in juxtaposition. On one hand you have a group of dedicated followers of a “message of peace” that reside in violence. You have a charismatic and calm leader who insights calamity. There are communities united in anarchy. Far Cry 5 is a game title that struggles in attempting to serve two purposes. On one hand, there’s a dark, horrible tale of a cult taking over a town. On the other, it’s a playground of destruction, allowing players drive and fly around, blowing things up with a dog and a bear. Both sides are great, but they do meet in the middle. If you can endure the tonal whiplash, you’ll discover a great game.
