Wreckfest racing video game brings track racing and demolition derbies to your consoles
Wreckfest is a new demolition derby themed racing game with soft-body damage modeling, sophisticated driving dynamics and in-depth vehicle upgrading, featuring both demolition derbies and more traditional track races. Among the best xbox one racing games and ps4 games, I think we should include the new Wreckfest video game (right next the Dirt Rally 2.0).
Career Mode is excellent, and easy to navigate thru. Implementing updates and customizing your vehicle is extremely simple, intuitive… and really enjoyable to do, unlike other racing console games where customization is way over the top. Wreckfest Xbox One and Wreckfest PlayStation 4 features a seemingly simple car-upgrading The Rocket, that car you start with, at 164 rating (max C class).
Online Mode. Yes, even if not the best… I must concede that. But, I am sure a patch will come out with adjustments. When chatting using a party otherwise, a friend and you can join a lobby. Not bad, but a group may have an issue with this.
There’s some terrific vehicles, cool tracks (and 6 new/different ones in the PC version), 3 Derby arenas (I believe ) and just awesome gameplay…
The goal in Wreckfest Xbox One and Wreckfest PS4 is to win the race or be the sole survivor of the derby. Of course, Wreckfest makes me forget all those basic survival instincts, other principle you may have picked up accidentally during classes.
Being a racing game, Wreckfest eschews any sort of plot and instead gives you three main options: quick races, online events and a significant career mode that sees you taking on events, single races or tournaments, using a mixture of vehicles that trade speed for strength in various ratios.
After being available on PC for a while, Wreckfest, Bugbear’s return to the destruction derby racing genre, has finally launched on PS4 and Xbox One, offering a fully fledged career mode, a Wreckfest finally arrives on consoles to deliver demolition derby destruction and vehicle-smashing races, and it was worth the long wait.
Wreckest it’s climbing on ps4 racing games tops and it is already on top of some xbox one racing games stats. Wreckfest offers some of the best driving physics we ever experienced. Plenty of content and hours of fun are ahead of racing games enthusiasts. All in all, Wreckfest is absolutely worth to buy, especially if you can find some discount on game retailers like BuyGames.
